Join the conversation with other Duke Alumni on LeafLit!
LeafLit allows readers from Duke Reads to share thoughts, annotate text with links to images and articles, and converse within a virtual community atmosphere.

You can link your Kindle account so you can purchase your Duke Reads books on Amazon and read them on the App. LeafLit also offers thousands of free books to download, so you can read other titles as well if you like.

Instructions

1.   From your iPad, download the app.

2.   Create your account using your Duke Reads preferred email address and log in.

3.   Locate the "Connect to Kindle" icon in the upper left corner on your iPad screen and select it.

4.   Add your Kindle account information and log in.

5.   Go to the “Communities” section. If you are not yet a member of the “Duke Reads” community, go to “Discover Communities”, search for “Duke Reads” and ask to join it.

6.   Access the “Duke Reads” community and tap on the book you want to read. You’ll have to download the book to LeafLit by tapping the “Download” button.

7.   Now you’ll just need to download the group’s annotations by tapping the “Free Download” on the bottom of the screen.
